Achievements
Authored and worked with state legislators to pass bill that allows local governments to recover costs for fire investigative and suppression costs in cases of arson and which also allows for the recovery of delinquent taxes on all fires.
Co-organized and established the city/county arson unit, which combines the resources of area law enforcement and fire personnel thereby eliminating costly duplication of services and enhancing productivity of all agencies involved.
